Smoke Control offers an exclusive range of smoke curtains that provide unparalleled smoke control solutions for a variety of applications. Our systems are compliant with the National construction code, AS1668.1 Smoke Baffles and EN12101.1.

Unlike smoke containment screens, smoke curtains are allowed certain concessions, including perimeter gaps, the elimination of side guides, overlapped modular sections, and up to 15 degrees of deflection from the vertical. While these features can create potential leakage paths, they are addressed by working in conjunction with mechanical smoke control systems, which help to create opposing airflow for effective smoke containment. EN1201.1 is a single part of a 10 part suite of Norms. There are also an additional 3 provisional Norms. Don’t confuse smoke channelling / baffle Standards with Smoke Containment requirements.
