FIBERSHIELD, FYREHALT & FYRESLIDE FOR SYDNEY METRO
Along with Fyrehalt Fire Doors, our Fibershield Fire Curtains have been installed throughout the SydneyMetroNorthwest station network. They feature both ‘Fibershield V’ long span fire curtains & ‘Fibershield H’ horizontal fire curtains. ‘Fibershield V’ is the first and still the only long span curtain offering a single compact headbox truly maximising open plan designs, such as the #SydneyMetro Stations.
‘Fibershield H’ offers a fully concealed system with quality building finishes in mind. Others have attempted to copy this system but have missed the detail that provides a superior and long-lasting asset. Backed by extensive ‘above & beyond’ testing, ‘Fibershield’ Fire Curtains boast 2 hour fire & smoke containment in accordance with AS1530.4.
Our Fyreslide (-/120/30) Sliding Fire Door were also installed.
Smoke Control’s sliding firedoors are constructed from galvanised steel & fire resistant filling, complete with all hardware for manual operation (motorised systems also available). They can also be powder coated to any colour from the RAL palette.
Sliding Fire Doors are used mainly in shopping centres, multi-storey car parks, warehouses, tunnels and other industrial facilities.
